About

One idea. One week. Every week.

I’ve been collecting domain names for over twenty years — clever ones, useful ones, names I registered at 2am certain they’d become something. Most never did. They’ve sat parked and quiet, a graveyard of good intentions, some since the early 2000s.

One Week One Idea is the forcing function to change that. Every week I take one idea — usually one of those dormant domains — and build it into something real and usable. Then I ship it. Publicly, on a deadline, polished or not.

This site is where I document the whole thing: what I picked, how I built it, what worked, what flopped, and what I learned along the way. Building in public, one week at a time.

Why

Ideas are cheap. Finishing is rare. A portfolio of unused domains is just potential energy — interesting to no one until it’s released. The weekly cadence turns “someday” into “this Friday.”

The cadence

Pick on Monday. Build through the week. Ship on Friday. Write it up. Repeat — fifty-two times.

Follow along, and if a given week’s idea happens to be useful to you, even better.
